The EUMETSAT Portal monitors Multicast traffic within the network.

The system comprises of a GUI written in PHP using the Symfony framework, a series of JAVA batch programs, and an instance of Cacti.

The system uses the Dashboard restful API to create Dashoard Alarms should a service failure occur.


The configuration files are stored within the GitLab Project (https://git.geant.net/gitlab/puppet-apps/eumetsat/) and managed by puppet.

** Your SSH public key will need to be stored on the GitLab server, and you would use your dante.surname credentials

There are two production instance of the service one at prod-eumetsat01.geant.net (AKA eumetsat,geant.net) located in the Frankfurt PoP and prod-eumetsat02.geant.net located in the Bratislava PoP.
