Visualise your idea at TNC18
GÉANT invites young professionals (BA and MA students, doctoral researchers, recent graduates) to participate in the TNC2018 Poster Pursuit. We are excited to give space and expose your brilliant idea, project or research to the audience of over 650 IT-technologists and members of the global research and education community. This is an excellent opportunity to show what you have been working on, to share information on interesting activities that are being carried out in your campus or at your NREN, to network and learn.
We will help you do it
Getting a poster accepted for a Poster Presentation at TNC18 or any other academic conference is highly competitive. Even when you have a great idea or piece of research, you might still have many outstanding questions.
- How do I distill my research or project to a one-page poster? What is the key message?
- How can this message be expressed with visual instruments?
- How do I create a 30 second impact with your poster that it is noticed by conference reviewers?
GÉANT will help you prepare for the challenge every step of the way through an online and interactive crash course in which you will learn how to increase your chances of being considered for a talk and how to be an impactful presenter.
