18:00 - 20:00Evening food.

Social Event

As a change from a formal sit down meal which would be difficult to arrange for large groups this close to Christmas, there will be a walking tour of the Zürich old town and christmas markets, after .

You should bring cash, and dress warmly, with gloves, scarf and hat and shoes that don't let the cold seep up through your feet. The final market visited will be the one with the most food stands and will also have a more formal covered restaurant which will be able to issue receipts. After which you can split into task groups to have dinner if you’re thinking you are still hungry. The final market visited will be the one with the most food stands., but it will certainly be possible to eat a full meal at the markets (and if you are on a per diem, this is probably the only way possible to do it in budget in Zürich;) )

For people who do not want to walk the full distance between the markets, it is possible to take a tram.
