Prepare for GPDR!

The General Data Protection Regulations take effect in May 2018. What is it and what do we currently know about it?

Part 1) focus on implications for marketing - presentation & discussion

Part 2) focus on implications for NREN services - presentation & discussion

With Andrew Cormack (Jisc), Lonneke Walk (SURFnet)
17:00-17:20How can we attract and engage young talent?
In the challenge-time we have Charlie from SURFnet about crisis management. I just discussed with her her input and she can do a more interactive discussion if we want. That could be like 30 or maybe 45 minutes. That would be good I think…we have also 15 minutes after the challenge time which we need to fill. Magda Haver (GÉANT)

Challenge us to your challenges (open space)

Organising a community workshop on crisis management and communications - how can I gather all relevant requirements?

We also invite a focus on our services (e.g. How do we assess customer needs? How do we ensure that the services are taken up and used in such a way that the customer can reap the benefits of the service? How far into the customer's organisation can we/do we need to go? How do we collaborate with the customer to ensure uptake and adoption? etc.)

How can our services compete 'against' commercial equivalents?
