In September 2016 SIG-Marcomms formulated the need for a larger workshop or exercise about crisis management and crisis communication. Crisis management is becoming an increasingly urgent topic for NREN's and different SIG's and TF's have signaled a need for more discussion, awareness and training on this subject.

To fulfill this need and to facilitate the broader discussion about crisis management between all relevant communities, GEANT will organize a two day crisis management event in November 2017.

To get a clearer idea of what kind of crises NREN's are dealing with, you can read the blog of the SIG-Marcomms meeting here: https://blog.geant.org/2016/09/30/keep-calm-and-carry-on-communicating/.

Venue and dates:

The University of Malaga has kindly accepted to host this event on November 21st and 22nd.
