This workshop was This workshop is the culmination of a study to explore what the possibilities and requirements are for an AAIAAAI, given the new challenges posed by the rise of e-science data and the increasing emphasis on collaboration and the sharing of scientific content. Findings from the study will be were presented and various experts from within the e-science and research infrastructure providers communities will were asked to present their points of view views on the relevance of an AAI to their activities. Input from participants Feedback received during the workshop will be invited and considered in recommendations in the final report.

The final report will be submitted to the European Commission in September 2012 and will be used to inform the work of Horizon 2020.
