Title: Data sharing in education - trends and implications
The GÉANT Task Force for Educational Activities (TF-EDU) would like to invite you to a held it's 12th meeting as a side meeting pre-NORDUnet Community Workshop focussing on both strategic opportunities and challenges, and sharing knowledge and best practice on practical issues related to the delivery of education, both nationally and globally.
Protecting data in the education system is of paramount importance, but it is by no means an easy task. The upcoming TF-EDU meeting presents presented a valuable opportunity to delve dive into the evolving landscape of the education sector and its endeavors to bolster digital data sharing. One notable facet of this evolution is the European regulation known as electronic identification, authentication, and trust services (eIDAS), which specifically addresses cross-border eID and Digital Identity Wallets.
During the meeting, two the noteworthy project, namely Digital Credentials for Europe (DC4EU), will enlighten us with shared their insights on the integration of microcredentials and digital credentials into wallets, and the intricate relationships that exist between them. By exploring these perspectives, we aim aimed to foster a comprehensive understanding of how these credentials can be seamlessly integrated and how they mutually complement each other.
