The purpose of the workshop
On behalf of GÉANT and the educational expert group, we would like to invite you to join us to discuss further the challenges and opportunities NRENs are facing regarding educational technologies. The workshop is the follow up from the 1st NREN educational technologies worksop from TNC19 (https://tnc19.geant.org/events/#s115), in which joint procurement for LMS, Digital Learning Environment, eduID - MyAcademicID, learning analytics, open educational resources was discussed.
In the 2nd workshop we will continue discussing future strategies on how the NREN community can support educational institutions with innovative technologies. With specialised topics, chosen during the pre-workshop (October, 7th, 2019) we would like to discuss possibilities for future collaborations, challenges and good practices. The final session of the workshop will set the stage for founding of the new Task force (TF) on education within GEANT Community programme.

Call for topics
We invite you to submit your proposal for a topic to be part of the face-to-face workshop. Requirements: Topics should focus on the educational aspect of a future activity, project and / or service to benefit both the educational and NREN communities.
Title / name of the topic:
Short explanation / pitch: maximum 150 words long and to address the following questions:
- Why it is important for you?
- Why is it relevant for your NREN?
- Why should we discuss / collaborate about it internationally?

Once you arrived to Dózsa György út metro station take step towards Váci út. Go to Huba utca and turn right into Huba utca. In the middle of the office building you will find the to entrance of KIFÜ. KIFÜ is on the 1st and 2nd floor.

Parking
You can park outside of the building. Parking must be paid for between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm Monday to Friday. On-street parking (municipal parking) is free on the weekends. Budapest is divided into several street parking zones with different fees. Tickets must be purchased from the nearest parking meter and they need to be displayed on the dashboard or payed via mobile phone via various apps
