- The correlation (or lack thereof) between an identity in an identity federation and an identity in the wallet
- The correlation (or lack thereof) between the established trust in our inter-federations (such as eduGAIN) and the trust infrastructure that will be used to support the digital identity wallets (e.g. EUDIW)
What do we already know / have written down, and where to find it?
Example: Feide, Norwegian Identity Federation
Had support for eIDAS 1.0 by adding it as an alternative login-method
The primary PID for Norwegian users has been the National Identity Number. This has good coverage in general, and also high availability in Feide. Expected that it will continue as primary PID in eIDAS 2.0 / wallets.
At this moment not sure how our role will be, but plan is at least to add wallet as an alternative login-method.

"The SAML-route":
SSP board: At TNC we’re organising a small informal meet-up in the lunch break of Tuesday 10 June for those NRENs that are actively using SimpleSAMLphp. The location is to be confirmed after we’ve had a chance to look at the venue.
Key questions we’re interested in discussing at the TNC meet-up:
- what are you using SSP for
- how important is SSP for you?
- Could you contribute to SSPs sustainability and if yes how?
Feide is planning to attend this meet-up, anyone else?

- Getting to know the spec.
- eduGAIN Pilot and Call for participation: June 18th Infoshare
- Feide is planning to attend and see what way we can contribute
"The University Alliances-route":
- Suggestion from Adrian F (EnCo Policy & Technology subtask) to gather insights directly from the universities.
- How do they see the wallet? Need for an educational wallet in addition to a national wallet?
- Do we need/want to do anything right now?
- Feide tries to follow wallet development, per now mainly through participating in this project, and contact with DigDir (https://www.digdir.no/digdir/about-norwegian-digitalisation-agency/887). DigDir is responsible for providing a national EU-compliant wallet.
- Organization centric (Feide) vs. person centric (Wallet)
- At this moment not sure how our role will be, but plan is at least to add wallet as an alternative login-method.
- What kind of information from Feide is relevant for the wallet? (Role? Student / not student?)
