eduroam Managed SP is an eduroam supporting service to enable eligible institutions to outsource the technical setup of the roaming uplink functions in an eduroam SP to the eduroam Operations Team.
eduroam Managed SP will be offered by the National Roaming Operators (NROs) to the institutions in their region who will be invited to use the service. The institutions, via the eduroam institution administrator, will have access to the NRO's web-based institution management interface to enable the service. Each NRO has its own view in the system, that is each NRO administrator only sees his own institutions, and can manage his own NRO's properties and subscriptions.

A unique selling point of this service is that the typical limitation of being required to have a static IP address is waived - the eduroam SP Wi-Fi infrastructure can be managed by the system even on IP connectivity with changing IP addresses (e.g. DSL, mobile networks).
