Workshop Logistics

Location

The workshop will take place in the offices of SWITCH in room “Rigi”, the large meeting room on 1st floor. SWITCH is located at Werdstrasse 2 (map), about 12 minutes on foot (or 2-5 minutes by tram/commuter train) from the main train station (Zürich Hauptbahnhof/HB). The meeting room will be available before the start of the meeting, so those who arrive early can work/chat.

Hotels

There are many hotels in the area, and room sharing systems such as AirBnB should work as well. SWITCH has a deal with Hotel City Zürich***, (map) where a single room in the Economy (limited availability!)/Business category can be had at CHF 155/197 per night including breakfast and wireless Internet access, excluding the city tax of CHF 2.50 per night and guest. Just mention “SWITCH” when you reserve a room.
