Description
Currently there are three Three user roles exist: host, presenter, and participant. Escpecially Especially in an educational siutation setting, a presenter has too many rights and privileges and to raise privileges for participants could be hard , and participants often have too few. Enhancing rights and privileges of participants is difficult, especially when the teacher has to do it during a meeting for late coming students.
We would like to change user rights and roles universally for our AC installation, but also give each Host host the possibility option to change rights for a specific meeting room. For example we do not think that a Presenter presenter should be able to switch off the sound of a meeting, deactivating deactivate all the cameras, closing close down the meeting room, delete the chat/text (that cannot be undone) etc. This we believe is the role and rights of a Hosthost. However, we would like the Presenter presenter to be able to activate different layouts, which is not possible today, etc.
Reason: Too many problems relate to rights and roles management. If the administrator, and next the meeting host, could customize rights and roles globally for an installation, next globally for a meeting room, a lot of problems could be avoided during a meeting.
