The GÉANT Trusted Certificate Service is now entering its 4th phase of operation. Please see below for links to the relevant documentation for each phase:
- TCS 2020: Sectigo.
- TCS 2015: DigiCert.
- TCS 2010: Comodo.
- SCS 2006: GlobalSign.
Since the 1st of July 2015 the Trusted Certificate Service (TCS) will officially move from Comodo to the new supplier Digicert.

TCS Membership – Who can apply?
An NREN can join the TERENA Certificate Service if:
(i) it is a National Research and Educational Network (NREN) AND
(ii) it is from a country that is listed in the contract between Digicert and TERENA. The list of countries is in Addendum to the contract between Digicert and GEANT
