Discovery Service Configuration

The For the basic adoption of eduTEAMS Discovery Service URL serves to all you need to know is the URL it uses to serve discovery requests of your SP.

  On how to apply the Discovery Service URL in your product you should consult the documentation of the product you are using, in most cases Shibboleth SP documentation  or SimpleSAMLphp documentation. If you are not taking advantage of the more advanced features like filtering IdPs or embedded discovery all you need to do is to apply the  Discovery Service URL as instructed by the product documentation. For most clients it does make sense to take also the more advanced features like filtering IdPs and embedded discovery to use.

Filtering IdPs

By default eduTEAMS Discovery Service lists all the eduGAIN IdPs.  SP may reduce the list by Filtering IdPs.
