The Global Interactive Map is a collaborative effort of the GREN. The work is done by a core, federated team made available by a number of RENs, supported by a network of REN staff contributing data.
Core Team Roles
The core team has a number of roles:
- Communications
- websites
- outreach and marketing (presentations/videos/demos)
- Software Development
- Project management oversight
- overall project management
- development stories or epics
- deployment infrastructure setup
- soliciting and coordination for collection of network data,
- WG admin (meeting organization, minutes, adding new members)
Becoming a contributor
The GREN mapping team is always happy to welcome new contributors. At this time we specifically need
- Software developers
- Project manegement assistance, specifically
- overseeing the push for “Version 1.0” TNC target release
- Regional coordinators for the collecting network data
