Description
Better video quality in the Camera Pod and in Share Pod.
As for the Camera Pod, we would like to see support for better codecs (i.e. H.264), better resolution and frame rate. As administrators, we would like to control the level of video quality supported universally on the installation, as it might increase the load on servers.
As for the Share Pod, we would like to see support for the mp4-format, along with the presently supported flv- and swf-formats.
Reason: People are getting used to higher video quality, when using other similar video- and web-conferencing systems. Next, it would be easier to support high profile events with better video quality in the Camara Pod. With regard to support of the mp4-format in the Share Pod, this would give much higher flexibility, as they would not need to convert mp4-video to the flv-format.
