As of 7 June 2016, the GÉANT Association re-applied to register the trademark for the eduroam wordmark (wordmark refers to the use of the word within text without graphical elements). This process is likely to take between 6-8 months before registration is completed.
During this time the ® should not be used in conjunction with the eduroam wordmark and any trademark references should be adapted accordingly.
The eduroam logo retains its trademark registration during this period and so no action is required in relation to the use of the eduroam logos.
