Discovery Service Configuration

For the basic adoption of eduTEAMS Discovery Service only relevant information needed is the URL it uses to serve discovery requests of SPs.  On how to apply the Discovery Service URL you should consult the documentation of the product you are using, in most cases Shibboleth SP documentation  or SimpleSAMLphp documentation. For most clients it does make sense to take also the more advanced features like filtering IdPs and embedded discovery to use.

Filtering IdPs

By default eduTEAMS Discovery Service lists all the eduGAIN IdPs.  SP may reduce the list by Filtering IdPs.

Embedded discovery.

eduTEAMS discovery may be used as Embedded Discovery.
