Create the Meru controller as a RADIUS client on your RADIUS server. Open your browser and connect to your Meru controller (in this example, an MC1500 is used).
Under the Configuration tab, click on Radius under the Security heading.
Click on the Add button to add a new RADIUS profile, and enter the required information:
Click the OK button to complete this part of the setup.
Next, click on the Profile option under the Security heading. Click the Add button to add a new profile.
Profile name: eduroam (or anything you like)
L2 modes allowed: WPA2
Data Encrypt: CCMP-AES
Primary RADIUS profile: eduroam (or as created in Step 1 above)
Secondary RADIUS profile: optional
Click the OK button to complete this part of the setup.
Under the Configuration tab, click on the ESS option under Wireless.
Click on the Add button.
Complete the information as required:
ESS Profile Name: eduroam (or any other meaningful name)
Enable/Disable: enable (enable/disable this profile)
SSID: eduroam (this must be set to "eduroam", all in lower case)
Security Profile Name: eduroam (or whatever you called in in Step 2 above)
Click the OK button to complete the setup.
This is a basic guide to get eduroam going. Additional steps can be taken to bind VLANs to the SSIDs based on the SSID itself, or as specified on the RADIUS server.
