No much to report:

  • no further contacts with Uzbeksitan
  • still haven't responed to Egypt request for new certificate, waiting for OT
  • meeting about eduroam in European NRENs, perception of users, etc. that I announced last time - was planning for a mid March (will send some dates to everyone interested)
  • Few outstanding Compliance Statement signatures. This list of NROs has been shared with PR.

eduGAIN
  • MaliREN Mali and BotsREN Botswana federaton esablishments are in progress. They need to get back to us. 
  • NgREN IF (Nigeria) was accepted as eduGAIN member and are now in full production.
  • MREN (Montenegro) is now an official candidate.

  • Most of the work currently taking place to organise and plan the forthcoming eduGAIN training in Paris, 30 March - 3 April. Still places available.

Training registration deadline was removed. 

GLAD Academy training development is well underway.

Preparing publication of base info on CoreAAI, MyAccessID, MyAcademicID on trust and identity website.After establishing the standardised information, work on rebranding can start.

Slow progress with NRENs / Federations, planned meetings until the end of this month

InAcademia exhibited at eCommerce Berlin. Very positive reaction, good crowds, often a queue to ask questions. Nearly 100 leads captured in 2 days.

WP5 T&I Leaflet - action: Casper to update the statistics to 2025 numbers based on the WP5 deliverable. Make them reusable for global use to improve effectiveness. 

Service Marketing Plan GN5-2 P2 - Leonardo and Lars will further discuss this at SIG-Marcomms.
