The increasing sophistication of cyber threats makes it imperative for higher education institutions and governmental entities to adopt effective security information management strategies. To address these concerns the SIG-ISM meeting will focus on insights and actionable strategies to keep entities aware and safe from cyber threats. Topics will focus on international collaborations to promote cyber resilience, emerging cyber threats, preparing for the NIS2 directive, and the importance of sharing agreements for cyber threat intelligence and how organizations can collaborate more effectively to respond to cyber-attacks in a coordinated manner.

Discussion held with GCC.  Proposed that TF-RED convert into a SIG and focs to be changed from internally focused development of research engagement to more outward facing, allowing community members to meet with research instutions and learn about the latest research areas that are being worked on across Europe.

Will be sending a memo/concept paper to the task force to discuss as soon as possible.

9 June in Tirana alongside TNC23. Meeting will focus on 1) blogs promoting the impact of NRENs globally, 2) social media and 3) various updates such as GREN map and COMPENDIUM website.

Agenda can be found at: SIG-Marcomms TNC23 side meeting, June 9 2023

40 people registered to participants on site.

Autumn meeting will be hosted by Asnet-AM on October 4-5 alongside EaPConnect project meeting. Focus will be on project communications.

As the SIG-marcomms Steering Committee is getting too big (7 + coordinator as of March 2023), Silvia will suggest to include representatives of global community (CANARIE and AARnet) only for the TNC meeting and to review membership once HEAnet representative is back from maternity leave next year.

SIG-eHealth decided to start a series of webinars involving main actors in the domain of Digital Health Data, and we started on May 10 with a webinar by Amazon AWS on the AWS services for Health, how to build Trsuted Research Environments via AWS, and the current understanding of the European Health Data Space architecture.

There will be a follow up webinar at the joint EGI-GÉANG Workshop on eHealth at TNC23, on June 9, in the afternoon
https://events.geant.org/event/1410/

As a side, but relevant comment:  SIG-eHealth has been officially renamed into SIG-DHD (Digital Health Data).

General notes

REMINDER: We agreed that after each meeting there would be a short questionnaire (Mentimeter / Surveymonkey / Zoom poll) and TF coordinators to add the results to the monthly update pages:

Q1 - how happy were you with the meeting you just attended?
Q2 - how much of the content/learnings will you take back and use in your NREN?
Q3 - how likely are you to come back to the next meeting?

Dashboard:

We will need to schedule time for the future to complete it together.
