- After the contract between GEANT and your NREN is signed and the bill paid, a division for the NREN will be created
if you have been indicated as the administrator, you will receive an email with a link that will allow you to create your account and confirm
the division. At the beginning when the division is created only one administrator can be assigned to it.
- After your account is set and your division functional you can create other administrators and users
- When self-service belongs responsibility; Make sure everyone involved once the legal texts that come in the web interface really reads; make sure you do not forfeit your access to the service by an ignorant clumsiness.
- Take part in the information sessions organized from February 2015; you will be guided there by the functionality of the web interface and hear things not (yet) included in this wiki.

- During the information session you are invited to send an email to scs-ra@surfnet.nl who send mail "from:" your ownpersonal address where you want it to be the username of the first administrator of the service. In the email sign what the spelling of the name of your organization that you hope that comes into certificates. So if you would prefer to see your English name than the Dutch version, or if you want to omit the word "Foundation" or do you want a common abbreviation instead of a long legal name, then you call your preference here.
If you know what the Chamber of Commerce registration of the headquarters of your organization name it whatsoever in the mail. Example: according to the Search function at the top right www.kvk.nl has headquarters SURFnet number KVK 30,090,777.

- If your organization is not registered with the Chamber of Commerce, but you know the law or the deed that says you exists as a legal name it then. No copies of deeds or submitting laws call suffice.
- If your mail is processed, you will receive on your address a challenge email from DigiCert. Click on the link and please note that the challenge but has a limited validity, at most a few days. If the link has expired, then you scs-ra@surfnet.nl to a new one.
If your administrator account is available, you can configure your organization and your main domain . After a phone call from Utah and a bunch of emails from DigiCert Validation you take a deep breath: you are in business ..
