Many research collaborations as well as campus services need a solution to deal with guest identity, as in many cases not all users are members of the academic Identity Federations.In several cases these guest Identity come with low Level of Assurance (LoA), e.g. in case a social account was used as it basis.

This activity aims to investigate how Stepup authentication may be used to improve the LoA of the user authentication by adding a second factor.
