This page holds information related to the level of service committed to the users and requirements that users must oblige to when using the service.

RESPONSIBLE: Information provided in this page is initially populated by the development team (during the transition phase), and revised based on the need or in a yearly service check by Certificate Transparency (CT) Service Manager.

At a minimum, the availability and response requirements are defined by the two separate user groups "CA:s" and "web browsers".

The only web browser using CT, Chrome, requires the availability for CT logs to be "99% as measured by Google".

CA:s have informally expressed availability requirements along the lines of getting a response within "a few seconds".

In addition to this, a CT log is required to sign and publish a new tree head at the minimum every 24 hours. In practice, this should happen much more often, like a couple of times per hour.
