There are two airports in Istanbul. Istanbul Airport is close to Sultanahmet because of its location. The distance between the new Istanbul Airport and Sultanahmet is approximately 49 km.

You can go from Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet by Havaist Airport Buses, commercial taxi or IETT. ULAKBIM'a suggestion from the airport is by taxi: 45 minutes / 1 hour to keep an average of 130 TL.

Information on COVID-19

Whilst advice from the World Health Organisation has not substantially changed it is clear that many have concerns regarding the virus and how it may affect us and the recent outbreaks in Europe have added to these concerns.
