Notification: Five very prominent members of our research staff have been accused of research fraud by anonymous sources online. We were alerted to this fact by Clarice Eagle, a research journalist at the Zardoz Chronicle. She pointed us towards a data dump that supposedly proves these malfeasances.

Prof Ambroise Gardeil of the Department of Quantum Nanoscience, has been accused of plagiarizing several notable publications throughout his tenure of 23 years at TU Oeucumene. Prof Edwina Schillebeeckx (Chemical Engineering) has been accused of self-plagiarizing. She actually already received a warning for this kind of behaviour when she was a researcher at Trillian University 14 years ago. Prof Carla Rahner (Biotechnology) has been accused of making up most of her research data for at least one very prominent publication, inflating one study done with 30 subjects to one with 300 subjects. Her popular science best seller 'Our Brain is Us' was mainly based on this study.

Furthermore, Urs Balthasar from the Department of Aerospace Structures and Technologies, and Marie Chenu from Quantum and Computer Engineering are named as those that propagate a culture of extreme competition within their research groups, and supposedly have been quite open about their willingness to copy other people's work, or their own, if it means more publications.

All of these accusations have not been officially investigated and cannot be substantiated or denied at present.
