Devices are added to mx-mappings.properties file in technology proxy, which is now held in puppetdb/ hieradata. Raise a ticket to the DevOps team when a new router is commissioned or decommissioned from the network and the bandwidth on demand service is required to be updated.

Removing a device

Raise a ticket to DevOps for the device to be removed providing the device name.

Adding a device

Use your preferred Rest web service client e.g. Google Chrome Advanced REST Client to obtain the device id using  https://junosspace-vm.lon.uk.geant.net/api/space/nsas/device-roles/pe-devices/, replace the hostname as needed and provide the required credentials for logging into space. If you do not know this speak to the NOC team.

The device id and the device FQDN should be provided to DevOps in a ticket request.
