  1. Select project name and key

    Each project has a unique name (e.g. JIRA Junior) and a unique key (e.g. JJ). The project key becomes the first part of that project's issue keys, e.g. JJ-1, JJ-2, etc.

  2. Select one of project types (listed below) which are related to your requirements. More deep description is available on:  JIRA applications and project types overview




    Project type is related to issue types and schemes which are pre-configured. It could be changed in future, but it is easier to start from type related to your methodology or procedures.

  3. Raise issue in SWDSD project -> https://jira.software.geant.org/secure/CreateIssue.jspa?pid=10500
    with all related information: name, key, type and users/developers if you need help with permission assignment.
