There are two production instances of the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) prod-esb01.geant.net (62.40.109.44 - Paris PoP) and prod-esb02.geant.net (62.40.113.83 - London PoP)

The ESB is based on the Apache ActiveMQ Broker, and is automatically started as a service called activemq. An Administration console is available at : http://esb.geant.net:8161/admin/ .The username is system and the password is stored in KeyPass

The ESB is predominately used by the Generic Poller system to temporarily store network device information and traffic utilisation information.
