Requesting event support for your SIG/TF meeting – How it Works
You can request support for your SIG/TF event once the date, location, and host are confirmed. Support ranges from standard setup (Indico page, registration, communications) to extra support (speaker management, logistics) and on-site or virtual assistance.
Requests are reviewed by the Community Programme & Events Team. We consider:
- The type and complexity of your event
- Experience of your SIG/TF coordinator
- Level of involvement of SIG/TF Steering Committee
- Maturity level of your SIG/TF
- Current Events Team capacity
On-site support is exceptional and should only be requested for larger or complex meetings.
You will receive confirmation of the agreed level of support within 2 weeks of submitting your request. The following outcomes are possible:
- Approved as requested
- Approved with adjusted support level
- Deferred / declined
- Referred back for clarification
