No much to report:

  • no further contacts with Uzbeksitan
  • still haven't responed to Egypt request for new certificate, waiting for OT
  • meeting about Eduroam in European NRENs, perception of users, etc. that I announced last time - was planning for a mid March (will send some dates to everyone interested)
eduroam promotional materialsNext GeGC meeting - 3 March. 
eduGAINMaliREN Mali and BotsREN Botswana federaton esablishments are in progress. They need to get back to us. 
Most of the work currently taking place to organise and plan the forthcoming eduGAIN training in Paris.
NgREN IF (Nigeria) was accepted as eduGAIN member and are now in full production.
MREN (Montenegro) is now an official candidate.

Slow progress with NRENs / Federations, planned meetings until the end of this month

InAcademia exhibited at eCommerce Berlin. Very positive reaction, good crowds, often a queue to ask questions. Nearly 100 leads captured in 2 days.
