The 17th SIG-CISS meeting will take place on March 16, 2026 - in the afternoon from 14:00 to 18:00 in Oslo, Norway - in co-location with CS3 Conference 2026 (and online):

Introspective SIG-CISS meeting:
The Focus for this 17th SIG will not be any specific, single technological aspects, but rather an introspective discussion within our SIG on the following points:
- Revamping of the SIG-CISS mandate, charter, ToRs: updating what our goals, terms of references, lines of action should be
- New members for the SIG-CISS steering group
- How to position our SIG in the context around us: which bodies should be our preferred discussion partners, what kind of actions and effect do we want to have on the community, what are our success criteria, what do we ultimately want to aim for ?
- What are the tangible effects we would like to have on the community ?
- How do we want to structure our way of working ?
- What are the technical topics we would like to focus our forthcoming meetings upon ?
- What roles will Collaboration Platforms play within the community and what role does the SIG-CISS want to play in this respect ?
- What can we do to improve in terms of: reaching out to more people within the community, agreed on common actions with other bodies to exploit synergies at our best
- A.o.B.
