Session Aim

Session 2 aims to build participants’ skills and knowledge by learning from and working through the practice of managing virtual meetings. The session also clearly identifies action steps for the future in terms of managing virtual teams.

 

Delivery

Online delivery. Prior to the session, participants need to make sure to have

  • stable internet connection
  • quiet area for 1,5 hours
  • meeting login
  • headset 
  • log in 15 min prior to the start to test the equipment


Activities Overview

The session is delivered by experiencing a virtual team meeting setting (Adobe Connect) and sharing personal experiences of managing (or being managed in) virtual communication. It is the combination of participant- and instructor-led activities.


Materials & Post session Workplace Activities  

  • Run a number of Team Meetings following Best Practice
  • Obtain feedback Team Meetings in relation to the Best Practice criteria
  • Continue to use Team’s Communication Plan
  • 360o Questionnaire sent for participants' review, for those taking part
