Meeting minutes
Review of current work
T1. Tie the delays and implementation in the interoperability in our use cases.
Help NRENs to understand how to relate to legislation and national implementation and provide insights into their possible positioning wrt EUDIW.
T2. How do wallet and federated ecosystems work together? We will look into this in T5. community effort & T6. Ontological view.
T3. Look into Lighthouse.
T4. potential third point: credential format endpoint.
T5. Check with other communities. Mapping other initiatives will be challenging. Potentially play a role in the infrastructure space.
Possibly provide feedback to EC. Collaborate with outreach WPs in GN5-2.
T6. Work for later
T7. Include - accessibility of UX.
Cross-sectorial use cases, business wallet, life-long learning, etc.
T8. Conversation starts at TNC.
Community building
Continue working on planning the info-shares, meet-ups and community building.
Current state
National adoption
How to classify and prioritise information? And how to make it available to the NRENs? How to show the differences and commonalities?
From a consumer’s perspective: useful to have an overview of what exists.
Focus on European nations, but with a broader view to stimulate interoperability (lower priority).
Separate page about (EU) NREN involvement.
Metrics - what information do we prioritise?
Implementation acts - list them.
Potentially go in to how they impact R&E sector
Esther: New round of questionnaire - after second infoshare (October ‘26). Third round after final infoshare (May ‘27).
Standards - categorised by provider.
Important for interoperability. Used standard is depending on the institution’s role. RPs are different from trust frameworks, etc.
Look more into standards once we start with interoperability tests and development
Risk management
Work on making the risks and challenges easier to understand and look more into the ones relevant for our sector.
Use cases
Discussion about Inacademia with Michelle, how will that service look like in the wallet world?
Christoph and Nicolas will work on proposing a few (5?) high level use cases that we can discuss during the weeklys, goal to have an overview to get feedback on at the TNC wallet side meeting.
