Description
The Perun User Registration and Group Management service support the management of the full life cycle of user identities. This includes the initial registration of the user, performed by completing an application form.
Link to application form is provided by virtual organization (VO). There are two ways to register a new user to LifeScience Perun:
- Direct link to Perun Application Form: https://perun.pilot.lifescienceid.org/fed/registrar/?vo=[name]
- Access through a SP connected to LifeScienceID, the through discovery mdx.pilot.lifescienceid.org
Demonstration workflow
1 - Registration through SP

| 1 | To register a new user through a SP, first of all connect via browser to it. This SP should be connected to LifeScience Pilot. From Login area, you should find a LifeScienceID button, used to perform login operation. Screenshot shows common LifeScienceID button. |

| 2 | Once you have clicked on LifeScienceID button, you will be redirect inside discovery service. You have to choose your IdP, then you have to authenticate through it. After login, you will be redirect to Perun registration form. |

| 3 | After you have identified yourself through your IdP, you will be redirect to the registration form. Form include 3 field: Name, E-mail and Nickname. Name is fixed and obtained through Idp. E-mail is fixed too, but if you have more e-mail registered at your IdP, you can choose one of them. Last field is Nickname and you have to choose it. After all three field are completed, you can submit your request. |
