SCOPE is  special special interest group linking like-minded professionals in the R&E community to share exchange experiences and foster new ideas in the fields of campus issues and green technologies in order to achieve its mission of building a sustainable R+E community. 

SCOPE emerged out of a merger between two leading networking groups in the GÉANT project: Campus Best Practice and Green ICT.  With a presence contribution of over 40 dedicates dedicated staff members, ; campus IT professionals staff from over 50 national working groups, a library of ; 200+ Best Practice Documents documents and a wide range of tested and proven IT sustainability tools and templates, SCOPE provides a wealth of experience and resources to IT professionals such as your self working in Campus,  NREN organisation, Research institute or otherwiseIT.

By joining SCOPE you get a network of experts to bounce off new ideas and share best practices to implement on a campus or national levelwith.


How do we work?

We SCOPE members exchange work and ideas via regular online and face to face SIG meetings, organise professionals into sub-group on a topicdifferent topics, produce best practice documents and reportreports,  provide training and workshops, give presentations in at conferences, and develop new ideas through continuous dialogue and via our exchange board.
