We

support

supported the open source project Safe Exam Browser as principal members of the former SEB Consortium for 5 years (2015 to 2020) to jump start and ensure the continuing development of the Safe Exam Browser and respective support of SEB users.

The Safe Exam Browser is a web browser environment to carry out e-assessments safely.

Since January 2021, the former SEB Consortium has turned into an alliance (SEB Alliance) and is now managed by the ETH Zurich entirely.

What is more, we do have a very active Special Interest Group for e-Assessment, which organises 2 to 3 workshops a year for e-assessment experts at Swiss Higher Education Institutions. The expert knowledge and inter-institutional collaboration within this SIG proved to be of immense value to the whole academic community in Switzerland - especially during the COVID-19 crisis, where all lectures and exams were held to be online.
