Personal data processed

For each discovery service request eduTEAMS , the DSX Discovery Service creates a log entry in the regular web server log and a specific service log. The log entries record of:

• IP address of the client
• Identifier of the Service Provider
• Home Organizations made available for selection
• Timestamp of the request
• Browser used for making the request

Purpose of the processing of personal data

Technical The log files produced by eduTEAMS Discovery Service components will be are used only for administrative, operational, accounting, monitoring and security purposes.

Third parties to whom personal data is disclosed

Access to technical log data is restricted protected and log data can only be accessed in a secure way by eduTEAMS by DSX Discovery Service staff.

Statistical data is gathered based on the technical logslog entries (see above). This data is anonymized and does not contain any personal data. Statistical data may be made publicly available by eduTEAMS the DSX Discovery Service team.

Data storageAll data processed by eduTEAMS Discovery Service is stored within the EU/EEA.

Data retention

The technical logs and related information is kept independently in order to guarantee the security of the infrastructure and its optimization and we be retained no longer than 18 3 months

Your rights

• You may request a copy of the technical log data we are storing of your transaction(s). We will respond to your request within 10 working daysAs user data is anonymized it cannot be provided to end users but only to law enforcement agencies on eligible request.
