This page explains how to apply on the MyAcademicID Platform for a European Student Identifier of a Higher Education Institution that does NOT support federated access and has to rely on MyAcademicID in order to register and assign ESIs to the students that participate in the Erasmus+ study mobility.

Step 1:

The International Relations Office at your Institution should have provided you with a registration link that will allow you apply for a European Student Identifier from your Institution on the MyAcademicID platform. If you do not have the registration link, please contact the International Relations Office at your Institution.



Step 2:

After clicking on the registration link, you will see the Discovery screen of the MyAcademicID platform. As your Institution does not support federated access, you can choose to login either with your national eID through eIDAS or with a Google account.




Step 3:

After you authenticate, you will see the MyAcademicID Registration screen. Make sure that the name and email address matches the information that your Institution has about you.





Step 4:

After submitting the registration form for the MyAcademicID platform, you will see the registration form for your Institution. In this form you will need to provide the the student number that you have been assigned by your Institution.




Step 5:

After you submit the registration form, you will see the following screen and you will receive an email asking to verify your email address by clicking on a verification link.





Step 6:

After you click on the verification link, you will see the Email verification screen and you will receive a confirmation that the International Relations Office of your Institution has receveid your application.






Step 7:

When your application is approved by the International Relations Office of your Institution, you will receive a confirmation email.
