Title: Strategic insights, cutting-edge trends, and practical wisdom in educational delivery, both in our national spheres and on the global stage
The GÉANT Task Force for Educational Activities (TF-EDU) warmly invites you to its annual pre-TNC25 workshop, where we will explore both the strategic landscape and practical realities of delivering education across national and international contexts.
This year’s event, hosted by members of the TF-EDU Steering Committee, draws on years of collective insight and dialogue from within our community. It brings together stakeholders from NRENs, educational institutions, international bodies, governments, and industry, offering a unique platform to share experiences and shape the future of education.
In order to set the scene, we will begin the session with a contextual overview of key findings from the latest Annual Survey on Educational Services and Activities, presented by Gyongyi Horvath (GÉANT). This will include emerging trends, shifts since previous surveys, and the evolving impact of the pandemic.
Our interactive agenda includes a deep dive into the topic of standardisation and interoperability within educational ecosystems—highlighting current community initiatives and opening the floor for discussion on how we can take a more active role in these efforts.
The second part of the workshop shifts focus to digital wallets in education. We will hear from the Digital Credentials for Europe (DC4EU) project and the GÉANT project’s wallets working group, along with a live demonstration of eduWallets and practical insights into their development and use.
This workshop will contribute directly to TF-EDU’s development of a forward-looking roadmap—supporting our shared understanding of sectoral changes and helping to guide the future of educational delivery.
If you have some technical issues or other concerns, please send your submission to tf-edu-sc@lists.geant.org
