Service deployment to prod

  • (Niels) Start on writing a plan how to move InAcademia into PROD
    • How to deal with distributed nature of InAcademia irt GEANT T2?

 

Contract

  • HP wil write up a draft contract. This will be reviewed by legal rep.
  • GEANT as a legal entity
  • Under Dutch law?
  • Recycle existing SURFmarket, SURFconext contract?
  • Approach: Write high level contract based on mixing parts of federation contract and SURFmarket procurement contract (HP)

Service Engagement

Promotion work:

Online:

  • (HP) Improve the website to perform wel in SEO result. Identify major key words. Aim at reaching page two in Google.
  • (Geant - who?) -> To provide Logo's
  • (Geant) -> to share stock foto for the website
  • (All) Provide textual input for the InAcademia website (online retailers onboarding etc.)
  • (HP) To select and install a proper wordpress theme.
  • (Niels) To create a general E-mail address for prospect online retailers (SP's) to contact us, add Tangui and HP to lists
  • (Niels) Ad Piwik statistics to the website
  • (All) Generate referral trafic by linking to InAcademia from all participating NREN's and redirect retailers to the service

Action items:

  • Get 2 weekly meeting set up with Karl (Tangui)
  • Create closed space for team to work on prospects (Niels)
  • Add project teams to mailing lists (Niels)
  • Make a sreencast of InAcademia

Email marketing

  • Should we have our own mailing list where people can subscribe or do we piggy-bag on existing mailing from Geant and NREN's?

Direct Sales

Call upon prospect webshops and other online retailers.

  • (Niels) To provide HP with the list of interested parties (warm prospects)
  • (HP) To meet prospects and convince them to connect to InAcademia
  • Assign "hunting" tasks to project participants to reach out to local online retailers.
  • (All) Manage progres in connecting online retailers to InAcademia in this list

Action Item:

  • Create 1 pager Product brief for online retailers based on the existing text (HP)
  • Create 1 pager Product brief for Federations and Institutions based on the existing text (Niels)
  • Create flow for project briefs (Niels)

Financial Handling

  • Work out how we will do billing  - How, What, who
    • (Niels) Start working on contract between InAcademia and SP

Project things

  • Get CBA signed off
  • Handle Rebecka leaving, and handover to new devs
