- The Code Signing tab contains two versions: Code Signing and EV Code Signing.
Code Signing is included in the contract between DigiCert and GÉANT, whilst the Extended Validation version not. At the moment though and until the 1st of July The EVCode Signing are made available for free as a 'welcome' from Digicert to the TERENA members .
- For the ordinary (non-EV) Code Signing order, different Server Platform variants are available. 'Sun Java' should be selected in order to be able to enter the CSR. The resulting certificate can be then used for other applications as well.
- The EV Code Signing uses a two-factor authentication token. With Comodo, the Aladdin eToken Pro 32K was used. This is not suitable anymore. With Digicert Aladdin Pro 72K and some SafeNet eTokens from the 5000 series are available;
