For each discovery request eduTEAMS Discovery Service creates a log record of

• IP address of the client
• Identifier of the Service Provider
• Home Organizations made available for selection
• Timestamp of the request
• Browser used for making the request

Purpose of the processing of personal data

Technical log files produced by eduTEAMS Discovery Service components will be used only for administrative, operational, accounting, monitoring and security purposes.

Third parties to whom personal data is disclosed

Access to technical log data is restricted and can only be accessed in a secure way by CESNET staff.

Statistical data is gathered based on the technical logs. This data is anonymized and does not contain any personal data. Statistical data may be made publicly available by eduTEAMS Discovery Service.

Data storage

All data processed by eduTEAMS Discovery Service is stored within the EU/EEA.

Data retention

The technical logs and related information is kept independently in order to guarantee the security of the infrastructure and its optimization and we be retained no longer than 18 months
